GHD Design tops the list of Australasian practices by revenue in the 2022 World Architecture 100 (WA100) list published annually by Building Design UK.
GHD Design also placed #3 globally by revenue from government projects.
“Governments are increasingly interested in place-based solutions that enable communities to be more connected, inspired, resilient and productive,” says Leone Lorrimer, National Practice Leader.
“As part of global consulting company GHD, our architects and designers are working closely with our advisory, engineering and digital transformation experts in an integrated practice model to help our clients solve increasingly complex challenges and navigate the transition to net zero.”
A focus on government projects has enabled GHD Design to maintain and grow specialised teams in defence, transport, health and education. Investment in transport and social infrastructure is expected to continue in 2022 as governments continue to support economic recovery.
Recent projects include the Forrestfield Airport Link in Perth, Modbury Hospital in Adelaide, and the Wurun Senior Campus in Melbourne in collaboration with Grimshaw.
GHD Design ranked #52 largest architectural practice globally by number of architects.
